Seychelles Buddhist Association(SBA) was established in 2014 with the guidance of his Excellency Mr. Esala Weerakoon, Commissioner of Sri Lankan high commission.
SBA aims at uniting the Buddhist living/working in Seychelles, encouraging, practicing and increasing awareness of Buddhist philosophy, initiate and facilitate main Buddhist calendar activities and educate young children on basics of Buddhism and Sinhala language.
Furthermore, SBA is a member of “Seychelles Inter-Faith Council (SIFCO), which collaborates with other religious organizations in Seychelles fo the development of moral values and peace.
Any person living/working in Seychelles, who agrees with the objectives of the association, can become a member.
The executive committee is responsible in planning, managing and running of the association.
